Nicola brings professional fundraising experience to the business. She discovered her passion for fundraising when she worked at Fitness First Health Club in York, as Europe’s largest health club chain sponsored the BBC Sport and Comic Relief initiative, Sport Relief. She was asked to organise a Sport Relief Mile for the City of York and in just six weeks organised the event from start to finish, this included a PR campaign to generate participants. The event was a great success and the buzz that came from knowing her hard work would help others gave her the desire to do more.

Whilst working as a fundraiser for Butterwick Children’s Hospice Nicola generated press, radio and TV interest in the charity, worked with community groups and businesses as well as organising fundraising events from an outdoor carnival to a three night concert.
