The website www.myschoollunch.co.uk is the brainchild of Arnold and Karen.  After extensive research they decided to create an interactive website for Primary School children to encourage healthy eating and also to inform and educate parents about school meals.  The site includes lesson plans which teachers can download and use in the classroom situation and a funfair of educational games which children can play on at school or at home.  This enables them to learn as they play.

Local authorities, who join the group, can create their own mini site which includes competitions, news stories and menu information.  There are currently 22 authorities involved with www.myschoollunch.co.uk.  The site is very popular within the school environment and is constantly being developed.  For example you can visit the David Davies website.  David swims the 1500 metres freestyle and we are sponsoring him until the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008.  He encourages children to lead a healthy lifestyle.  On the site you can read David’s diary, learn about swimming, enter competitions to win signed merchandise and download recipes, screensavers and wallpaper.  The site has won numerous marketing awards for its ability to communicate with children and educate parents, teachers and children about the importance of healthy eating and school meals.
