Evaluate your marketing activity

Any business should have a marketing plan and evaluation should be a key part of this. If you spend money on advertising or PR for example, you can measure the success of the campaign through increase in sales or number of enquires it generated. This will help you measure how effective your marketing activities were and you will know which to try again in the future. If marketing activity you have tried hasn’t worked then it may need tweaking slightly or it may not be the right tool to communicate with your customers.
